Nanaca Crash

http://homepage.mac.com/pockyrevolution/nanaca_crash.html

you've got to try this. so you click the mouse at desired angle and then release it at the desired power. each character you hit does something to your "projectile." watch out for specials and don't forget to use your aerials. you get 3 upward aerial boosts and one rechargable downward boost. click to use. my record is 6669 and my friend kevin claims a 8699.

matrix ping pong & chinese food

This is like 2 years old but I just watched it again and it still rules.

So last night was Go-Go Cafe on Irving and 20th (?) Avenue. Is it proper English to use circa with things other than time? Irving and circa 20th Avenue? Present company: Dan, Kevin, Jeremy, and myself.

Served up was
* Chicken Feet House Soup
* Mu Shu Chicken
* Snow peas of sorts?
* Sizzling Beef Platter Medallions in Black Bean Sauce
* Spare Ribs with Spicy Salt
* Honey Walnut Prawns
* Green Bean Dessert

The Honey Walnut Prawns were quite disappointing. I don't know if they got a new chef or if they changed to recipe to save money but they were soggy and just came out like mayonaise & shrimp. But overall... So full. So good.

fabulous!

Gay Pride Parade in town today. The news estimated ONE MILLION people descending upon the city. You can be damned sure I won't be taking the Legacy out for a spin. However I still want to go into town and grab some dinner. I was planning to go see the Joan Chen movie today but alas it is no longer playing at the Embarcadero Theater. mmm... feel like having hot wings.

NEW:
*2005 ZAGAT guide. Some interesting restaurants out there. Interesting and EXPENSIVE.
*Bomberman DS. Yeah, it's not the same as the SNES version we play at TFB and is a lot less skilled based. Still it's ok enough to keep my interest and the A.I. doesn't run like a rock in this one.

How Many F's?

READ this sentence: FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

scroll down

Now count aloud the F's in that sentence. Count them only ONCE; do not go back and count them again. Then see below....

Answer: There are six F's in the sentence. One of average intelligence finds three of them. If you spotted four, you're above average. If you got five, you can turn your nose at most anybody. If you caught six, you are a genius. There is no catch. Many people forget the OF's. The human brain apparently tends to see them as V's instead of F's.

was ist los?

Craig Ferguson did a most interesting rant on Tom's Cruise's most recent Today Show with Matt Lauer "I'm a whacko" demonstration. So there is Tom Cruise the actor and not Tom Cruise the doctor giving out medical advice on national television. All this because he's read about it. Wasn't he supposed to be promoting a movie???

Thinking about going to:
* California Academy of Sciences / Steinhart Aquarium
* San Francisco Opera
* Muir Woods
* Redwood National Park / Fern Canyon
* Monterey Bay Aquarium / Great White Shark ?
* Conservatory of Flowers
* Asian Art Museum
* Computer Store, A
* Book Store, A

Destination: Exploritorium

Parking was crazy but I eventually got a spot right in front of the front door. This place is so cool.
