Paprika - パプリカ

Make something to eat with it. Then go see the movie.

The New Yorker describes it as "a Freudian-Jungian-Felliniesque sci-fi thriller." Don't read their review however. It is the antithesis of spoiler-free. It goes through every plot point and even the last shot of the movie. Where do these yahoos learn to write? My version would be something like: a Freudian-Jungian-Felliniesque sci-fi thriller. Maybe more Freudian. The frogs on parade is probably Felliniesque. I don't even know what Jungian is. Isn't that the weird alien race to which Jar Jar Binks belongs to? Anyways, it is a thriller about a dream machine called the DC-MINI and all the non-comically wacky things (read: parading frogs) and mishaps that happen as a result of it.

Don't watch the American trailers.
In the realm of generic reviews, I'll say this was a cool movie. I'm waffling between a 8.0 and 8.5
